Hazelburn 19 Years Cadenhead's Rum Cask Single Cask (70cl, 49.4%)

This is a Hazelburn single malt, distilled in 2005 and bottled in November 2024 by Cadenhead's after 19 years in a rum cask. It is a triple-distilled Campbeltown whisky from Springbank, bottled at a cask strength of 49.4% as a single cask release of 150 bottles. The nose combines mango, passion fruit, green apple, kiwi and strawberry jam with a note of warehouse funk. Cinder toffee, pineapple juice, candied orange and muscovado sugar come through on the palate, and the finish carries lingering black pepper.
