An unpeated Australian single malt from Headlands Distillery in New South Wales, matured in oak that previously held Apera and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered.
The nose is malty, with dried fruit, honey, sweet smoke and rich oak spice, along with floral, almond and vanilla notes. On the palate there is more dried fruit, baked pear, hazelnuts, cinnamon and chocolate, with an earthy edge and some smoke. The finish is long, with campfire smoke, spice, sweet malt, caramel and chewy vanilla.
