Headlands Muscat Cask is a single malt from Headlands Distilling Co, distilled and barrelled in the coastal town of Wollongong, New South Wales. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is finished in oak casks seasoned with 15 year old Seppeltsfield Rare Muscat, an Australian fortified wine made from Muscat Rouge à Petits Grains grapes grown at Rutherglen in Victoria. The tasting notes describe rich raisins and preserved fruits alongside butterscotch, smooth charred oak and vanilla.
