Heartwood Fed By The Fuels of Malcontent & Disillusionment Cask Strength Single Malt (50cl, 58.5%)

Heartwood Fed By The Fuels of Malcontent & Disillusionment is a cask strength single malt made from spirit of Nant origin. Spirit from two sherry casks was married into a 50-year-old Seppeltsfield tawny (port) cask. It was bottled in May 2022 at 58.5% ABV, in a limited release of 250 individually numbered 500ml bottles. It is described as more spirit-driven than the usual Heartwood bottlings, while still carrying deep fortified sweetness. Layers of sherry and tawny sit alongside rich fruit and spice, followed by a long, firm finish.
