Heartwood – Witch's Cauldron Cask Strength Vatted Malt (50cl, 61.2%)

Witch's Cauldron is a cask strength vatted malt from Heartwood, in a 50cl bottle at 61.2% ABV. The base is older Lark whisky from a 300 litre dry sherry cask, of which 100 litres were used. It was combined with 80 litres of younger Old Kempton spirit distilled in the Redlands days, which gives the vatting its front end and depth, while the Lark adds age and maturity. A small addition of two year old smoky, peated malt from Belgrove, 180 ml in 180 litres, completes the blend.
