Heaven Hill – Kentucky Bourbon (1L, 40%)

A Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, bottled at 40% in a one-litre bottle. It is aged for at least four years in oak casks, filtered through charcoal before bottling and made without added colour. Heaven Hill was founded in Bardstown, Kentucky, in 1935 by the Shapira family and is described as the largest independent, family-owned distillery in the USA. The nose is apple with a touch of caramel and sweet malt. On the palate, sweet vanilla and caramel come with fine hints of corn and marzipan. The finish is medium in length and slightly dry, with the sweetness fading.
