This is a single barrel straight bourbon from Heaven's Door, the American whiskey range developed in collaboration with Bob Dylan. It is 7 years old and bottled from one cask at cask strength, 58.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The whiskey was distilled in Indiana from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malt. The barrel came from ISC cooperage and has a number 3 char. On the palate there is vanilla with a touch of popcorn, light herbal notes and pepper, then candied orange, a warm spiciness and a pleasant sweetness.
