Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2022 is a limited edition Japanese whisky from Suntory, made as a tribute to the Sakura season, when the cherry trees flower. It combines malt and grain whiskies with a selection of whiskies matured in Sakura casks. The blend keeps the balance and depth associated with Hibiki, with a floral, delicate and lightly spiced character added. The nose is floral, with Sakura, jasmine and perfumed blossom. The palate is soft, with honey, pear, candied orange peel and a touch of chocolate, leading to a gently spiced, slightly bitter and lingering finish.
