Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2023 is a limited-edition Japanese blended whisky released by Suntory in 2023, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It combines aged malt and grain whiskies, some of which were finished in sakura (cherry wood) casks, alongside ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The bottle carries a traditional matsukawabishi (pine bark diamond) pattern, decorated with cherry blossoms.
The nose is gently sweet, with vanilla, orchard blossom, cinnamon, ginger and a delicate sakura and osmanthus note. The palate is smooth and mellow, with honey, marzipan and sakura mochi balanced by subtle oak. The finish is medium in length, with lingering sweetness, a hint of spice and a floral note.
