Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2024 (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2024 is a limited-edition Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, bottled at 43%. It combines aged whiskies with a long-aged grain component given further maturation in sakura, or cherry wood, casks. Ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks also contribute to the blend. The bottle decoration takes inspiration from Yobitsugi, the Japanese practice of joining pieces of different vessels with gold. The whisky's floral character brings cherry blossom and fragrant olive, followed by acacia honey, pear, vanilla, gentle spice and oak, with a rich, refreshing aftertaste.
