Hibiki Harmony Master's Select Travel Exclusive (70cl, 43%)

A limited edition Japanese blended whisky from Hibiki, bottled by Suntory at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It combines more than ten malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. Maturation in American oak, sherry casks and rare Japanese Mizunara oak is behind its depth. The bottle has 24 facets, one for each of the 24 seasons of the traditional Japanese lunar calendar. The nose is delicate and floral, with citrus blossom, raisins, honeyed oak and soft vanilla. The palate has layers of orange marmalade, dried fruit, creamy chocolate, cinnamon and gentle spice. The finish is medium in length, with plum, ginger, brown sugar and warm oak.
