Hibiki Harmony Momoyama (70cl, 43%)

A limited edition of Hibiki Japanese Harmony, a blend of malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. It was designed in collaboration with Chiso, a kimono house in Kyoto, and is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The packaging carries floral motifs and bold colour accents that reflect the changing seasons in Japan. The nose is delicate and floral, with rose and lychee, fresh herbs, then sandalwood and older wood. On the palate there is soft honey sweetness, candied orange peel and white chocolate. The finish is soft, with gentle spice, light fruit sweetness and a restrained note of Mizunara oak.
