Hibiki Japanese Harmony is a Japanese blended whisky at 43%, in a 70cl bottle. It combines malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries, and is made from a range of casks.
The bottle follows the brand's 24-faceted shape, each facet standing for an aspect of nature.
The nose is fresh fruit, including orange peel and peach, with delicate floral notes and a little honey. The palate is smooth and rounded, with sweet vanilla, toasted oak, light spice and a touch of Mizunara oak. The finish is clean, with lingering fruit and a hint of nuttiness.
