Hidalgo Especial Oloroso Villapanes (75cl)

Hidalgo Especial Oloroso Villapanes is a dry Oloroso sherry from Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a house that dates back to 1792. It is made from the Palomino grape and sold in a 75cl bottle. The wine is aged oxidatively through extended maturation in the Hidalgo solera system, which gives a rich, full-bodied style. The character is that of long-aged Oloroso, with dried fruit and nut notes. It sits within the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry DO in Spain.
