High Coast – Origins Älv Nordic Single Malt Whisky (75cl)

High Coast Origins Älv is a Swedish single malt from the High Coast region, in a 75cl bottle. Älv is the Swedish word for river, and the name points to the Ångermanälven, which runs past the distillery and supplies the cold, clear water used there. The whisky is unpeated and matured in first fill Bourbon barrels. Origins is a tribute to the distillery's beginnings and to the generations who worked with timber rafting on the river. The aroma is vanilla, coconut and sponge cake, the palate sweet vanilla, mature pear and apple, and the finish is long, with sweet vanilla.
