This is a bourbon from High West's Cask Collection, finished in Chardonnay barrels.
Each whiskey in the collection is made by blending selected straight whiskeys and then finishing the blend in second-use barrels. The result is a one-off batch, with the Chardonnay barrels giving this bottling its particular character.
High West describes the collection as balanced, complex and deep in flavour, and suggests it can be sipped neat or stirred into a cocktail.
