High West – High Country Single Malt American Whiskey (75cl, 44%)

A single malt American whiskey from High West, distilled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah and bottled at 44% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is distilled on the grain, so the grain stays in through fermentation and distillation. Maturation uses a combination of freshly charred oak barrels and second-use oak barrels. The flavour is described as vanilla, caramel and subtle smoke, with toasted malt, dried fruit and faint earthy notes, and a gentle spice from the oak.
