A blended rye whiskey from High West, bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
It combines straight rye whiskeys aged between 4 and 7 years. One is made from 95% rye and 5% malted barley, the other from 80% rye and 20% malted rye. The whiskey matured in new, charred white American oak barrels.
The nose is big, with cinnamon stick, clove, vanilla, peppermint, caramelised sugar and dried fruit. The palate is very spicy, with cinnamon, crisp mint and fennel over sweeter caramel, molasses, vanilla, cocoa and candied fruit. The finish is long, with rye spice, cinnamon, orange rind and vanilla.
