High West – Rendezvous Rye (46%)

High West Rendezvous Rye is an American rye whiskey bottled at 46% ABV, blended from straight rye whiskeys aged in white oak barrels. Two mashbills go into the blend: a 95% rye whiskey from MGP of Indiana, and an 80% rye and 20% malted rye whiskey from High West Distillery itself. Tasting notes typically mention cinnamon, vanilla, caramel and toasted walnuts, in a spicy, complex style.
