High West The Prisoner's Share is a blended whiskey made by High West Distillery in collaboration with The Prisoner Wine Company. It combines bourbon and rye whiskeys.
The blend is finished in red wine barrels from The Prisoner Wine Company, which brings a wine influence to the bourbon and rye.
The nose offers dark berries, vanilla, toasted oak and baking spice. The palate is full-bodied, with black cherry, caramel, spice, cocoa and a red wine character. The finish is long and smooth, with lingering fruit, oak and subtle tannins.
