Highland Park 12 Year Old Viking Honour is a single malt from Orkney, bottled at 43% ABV as part of the Viking Legends series.
It is lightly peated and matured mainly in sherry-seasoned European and American oak.
The nose combines caramel, light smoke, orange zest, lemon and raisin, with toasted oak and floral notes. On the palate come caramel, toasted oak, earthy smoke, light pepper, cherry and raisin, with a slight mineral edge. The finish is medium, with smoke, dark fruit and a clean, dry close.
