This is Highland Park 14 Year Old, bottled as Loyalty of The Wolf at 42.3% in a one litre bottle.
It is matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned American oak casks and ex-Bourbon American oak casks.
The nose offers toasted bread with marmalade, red apple and some punchy peat. On the palate come barley, thyme honey and more marmalade, with smoke in the background and Christmas spices adding warmth. The finish is pecan, dry peat and cinnamon sticks.
