This is a single cask Highland Park, 15 years old and bottled at a cask strength of 59.8%. It was distilled in 2003, matured in a used sherry cask made from American oak, and bottled in 2018. Only 605 bottles were filled.
Highland Park comes from the northern part of the Orkney Islands, and the whisky is very intense, with a gentle smokiness and a pleasant sweetness from the sherry cask. The finish is intensely sweet and smoky.
