A 16 year old Highland Park single malt called Wings of the Eagle, in a 70cl bottle at 44.5% ABV.
It is matured in sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks.
The nose combines shortbread, waxy orange peel, pine resin and a subtle hint of hickory smoke. On the palate, soft smoke, vanilla and mixed nuts lead. The finish brings almond butter, a touch of tobacco and crunchy brown sugar.
