Highland Park 19 Year Old 2007/2026 - Thompson Bros. - Refill Hogsheads

This is a 19 year old Highland single malt from Thompson Bros., an independent bottling of Highland Park. It was distilled on 21 June 2007 and bottled in July 2026. The whisky matured in refill hogsheads, casks chosen to keep the original character of the spirit and avoid heavy wood influence. The nose combines peaty malt with sage, shellfish and toasted hazelnuts. On the palate, bright citrus meets ripe apple, with savoury notes of ham and salty capers. The finish is long, with lasting peat and a touch of peanut.
