Highland Park – 1967-1991 (70cl, 43%)

This is a Highland Park single malt from the Island region, distilled in 1967. The distillery bottled it in 1991 as a prestige edition, a year short of its 25th birthday. It is in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is described as having a thread of peat smoke alongside classic sherry influence. Herbs, honey, wild flowers, green fruits and mineral coastal notes follow. The whisky is said to gain depth with time once the bottle has been opened.
