Highland Park – 20 Year Old 2005/2025 Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Sherry Butt #2801 (59.7%)

This is a 20 year old Highland Park single cask from Gordon & MacPhail, a family company working with Scotch malts since 1895. It was distilled in 2005, matured in a sherry butt of Spanish oak and bottled in 2025 at a cask strength of 59.7%, with 632 bottles filled. It is unfiltered and uncoloured. The nose offers ripe blackberries, sultanas and lively mandarin zest, with a light veil of smoke. On the palate there is dense berry sweetness, cinnamon and a fine touch of ginger. The finish is spicy and expressive, with soft notes of stewed fruit.
