Highland Park – 2006 15 Year Old The Octave

This is a 15 year old Highland Park distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2021 by Duncan Taylor as part of its Octave Series. After its main maturation it spent a final period in a sherry octave, a small cask of around 60 litres, which brings more wood contact during the finish. It was bottled at natural cask strength, with natural colour and without chill filtration, and was produced for the UK market. The outturn was around 88 bottles. Dried fruits, spice, honey, oak and a little heathery smoke are the notes described.
