Highland Park 2015 9 Year Old The Golden Cut is a single malt bottled by Cooper's Choice, distilled in November 2015 and bottled in 2025. It matured first in American oak and was finished in a sweet Sauternes wine cask.
Only 342 bottles were filled, at 50% ABV and non-chill-filtered.
The nose is light heather smoke with a fragrant edge of tropical fruit. The palate brings light honey sweetness, citrus and malted barley, with faint smoke and a touch of apricot and melon. The finish is soft wood smoke, sweetness and a little spice.
