This is a 30 year old single malt from Highland Park, a distillery bottling from the 2023 release. It was drawn from casks laid down in 1990 and 1991, and matured in sherry casks of American and European oak among others. It is bottled at 45.1% in a 70cl bottle, with 1626 bottles in the release.
The nose brings spices, orange, chocolate, wax and nuts alongside floral peat smoke. On the palate, peat smoke is balanced by honey and peach, with black pepper and tea, and the finish is very long.
