Highland Park – 8 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail 1970s 100 Proof (57.1%)

A Highland Park 8 year old Island single malt, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at some point in the 1970s. This is the 100 Proof edition, bottled at 57.1%, and it was one of the earliest releases of this bottling. It is one of the few independent bottlings that have been allowed to use the Highland Park name. It is described as rich and oily, with a noticeable sherry influence, coastal saline notes, leather and spice.
