A single malt from Highland Park on Orkney, bottled at 46.8% and inspired by the distillery's founder, Magnus Eunson. It was added to the distillery's core range.
The whisky is built around first-fill sherry casks, used in a high proportion.
The nose is chocolate malt, caramel and ripe banana, with a whiff of coal dust. The palate is silky, with dry sherry, autumn berries, more coal and a spicy, plain chocolate edge. The finish is long, dry and smoky, with black pepper.
