Dragon Legend is a single malt from Highland Park on Orkney, bottled at 43.1% in a 70cl bottle. It draws on Norse mythology and the Viking history of the islands, and has no age statement.
The barley is dried over peat from Hobbister Moor, and the whisky matures in sherry-seasoned oak and American oak casks.
The nose is heather honey and warm spice, with dried fruit, a light floral note and earthy peat smoke. On the palate it is full, with dark chocolate, dried fruit and sweet honey. The finish is long and warming, with honey, spice and toasted oak.
