Highland Park 'Freya' is a 15 year old single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 51.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Valhalla Collection and takes its name from Freya, the Norse goddess of love.
It is a medium-bodied whisky with a fruity, lightly smoky character. The nose runs from chamomile, orange and papaya to pine, cardamom and a touch of heather, with white chocolate and freeze-dried strawberries behind.
On the palate come pear, starfruit, smoke, orange peel and Turkish delight. The finish is smoky and drying, with apricot and spice.
