Highland Park Saint Magnus 12 Years is the second edition in the Inga Saga Trilogy from the Orkney distillery. It pays tribute to Saint Magnus, a significant figure in Orkney's history. The whisky was bottled in 2010 at 55% ABV, without chill filtration, from casks filled in 1998 and earlier years. Sherry casks influenced it over its twelve years of maturation. The release was limited to 11,994 bottles, and this one comes in a 70cl bottle. The character is powerful and rich, with fruity sherry notes, warm spices and the subtle smoke associated with Highland Park.
