Sigurd is a single malt from Highland Park on Orkney, released in 2013 for global travel retail as part of the distillery's Warrior Series. It is named after a figure from Orkney's Viking history and is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in American and European oak sherry casks. It comes in a wooden presentation box with a Viking motif and a sword.
The nose shows dried fruit, warm spices, honey and subtle heather peat smoke. The finish is soft and spicy.
