Highland Park Spirit of the Bear – Travel Retail (1L, 40%)

Spirit of the Bear is a single malt from Highland Park on Orkney, first released for travel retail. It takes its name from the bear, a powerful symbol in Norse culture, and comes in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV. A relatively high proportion of peated malt gives a smokier Highland Park. It was matured in sherry-seasoned American oak casks, which bring sweetness and spice into balance. The nose offers heather smoke and honey, with hints of orange, ginger, nutmeg and vanilla. The finish is spicy and pleasantly smoky.
