Loki is a 15 year old single malt from Highland Park, part of The Valhalla Collection. The whisky is gold in colour.
The nose opens with citrus and plenty of mineral character, along with a slight medicinal edge somewhere between iodine and camphor. There are farmy and coastal touches, a mix of honeys, Virginia tobacco, leather, wax, a few spices and tiger balm.
On the palate it is zesty and lemony yet rich, mineral yet honeyed. The finish is long and more coastal still.
