Highland Park Triskelion – Special Edition 2019 (70cl, 45.1%)

Highland Park Triskelion is a 2019 special edition single malt from Orkney, bottled at 45.1% in a 70cl bottle. It was created jointly by three of the distillery's whisky makers: Gordon Motion, Max McFarlane and John Ramsay. The name comes from the Celtic-Norse symbol of three interlocking elements. The whisky brings together first-fill sherry casks of Spanish and American oak with bourbon casks. It is described as rich and layered, with dried fruit, apricot, vanilla, heather honey, warm spices and the soft peat smoke characteristic of Highland Park.
