Highland Park – Triskelion (45.1%)

A single malt Scotch whisky from Highland Park, bottled at 45.1% ABV. It was created by three Highland Park whisky makers, Gordon Motion, Max McFarlane and John Ramsay, who combined the three main cask types to explore how wood and bottle sorting shape flavour and character. The vatting brings together first-fill sherry-seasoned Spanish oak, first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak, and first-fill bourbon barrels and hogsheads. A small number of refill casks were added to soften the final whisky. It is described as rich in fruit, with creamy sweetness and aromatic spice.
