Highland Queen is a blended Scotch whisky from the Highlands of Scotland, bottled at 40% ABV in a large 1.75 litre bottle.
The blend combines Highland malt from Tullibardine Distillery in Blackford with Scottish grain whiskies, and it is aged for a minimum of three years.
The nose is typically described as honey and caramel with apple-juice sweetness, a touch of pear and a little nutmeg. On the palate there is caramel-dipped apple, honey, vanilla and toffee, with cooking spices, black pepper and an occasional hint of mint. The finish is short and clean, with apple juice and honey.
