Hillrock – Double Cask Rye Whiskey

Hillrock Double Cask Rye is an American rye whiskey made in small batches on the Hillrock Hudson Valley estate, where the rye is grown, milled, pot distilled, aged and bottled by hand. It is aged first in new American oak casks with a number 3 char, then moved into new American oak casks with a number 4 char. The second cask adds layers of caramel and vanilla alongside the traditional rye spice.
