Hillrock Sauternes Bourbon (75cl)

Hillrock Sauternes Bourbon is a Solera-aged bourbon from Hillrock Estate Distillery in Ancram, in New York's Hudson Valley, in a 75cl bottle. The bourbon is finished in Sauternes casks, which previously held the French dessert wine from Bordeaux. The finish adds honeyed, dried-fruit and dessert-wine character over the bourbon beneath. Hillrock grows grain on its own estate and malts it on site. Its Solera ageing continuously blends older and younger whiskey rather than keeping them as separate batches.
