Hinch Single Malt is a four-year-old Irish single malt from Hinch Distillery, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is made entirely from malted barley, fermented for 72 hours and triple distilled in swan-neck pot stills.
The whisky matured in bourbon barrels of American oak and first-fill sherry hogsheads, with Oloroso casks making up the sherry part. No colouring is added.
On the nose there is candied orange and warm ginger, with honey sweetness. The palate brings caramelised sweetness, toffee apple and peach syrup, and the finish keeps citrus and honey for a long time.
