This is a single malt from Holyrood in Edinburgh's Lowlands, part of the Noir trilogy, which is styled after film noir. The theme is French wine yeast working with Scottish malt. Bordeaux Yeast is made with Pinnacle M and BP725 yeasts and matured in bourbon and Bordeaux casks. The aromas are described as cherries, strawberries and blackcurrants, with caramel fudge in the manner of Scottish tablet.
