Horse Soldier Signature Barrel Strength Bourbon (75cl)

A wheated bourbon from American Freedom Distillery in St. Petersburg, Florida, bottled at barrel strength in a 75cl bottle. The proof differs from batch to batch. The distillery was founded by retired Green Berets of ODA 595, the team that rode on horseback into Afghanistan after 9/11. The mash bill is 70% corn, 20% soft red winter wheat and 10% two-row barley, with wheat in place of rye. The nose is described as honey, apples, citrus, toffee and leather. The palate brings caramel, honey, butterscotch, woodiness, cashew, spiced raisin and a hint of toffee.
