Ichiro's Malt & Grain Classical Edition is a world blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 48% ABV. The blend draws on malts and grains from Scotland, Ireland, America, Canada and Japan, and the spirits are aged in Chichibu. It is modelled on classic Scotch whiskies that were traditionally high in malt content, and it is non-chill filtered and free of added colour.
The nose combines sweet malt and gentle peat smoke with orchard fruit, vanilla and a hint of coastal brine. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with honey, caramel, toasted oak and a little spice. The finish brings peat smoke and dried fruit.
