Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Blended Whisky Limited Edition (70cl, 48%)

This is a limited edition world blend from Ichiro's Malt & Grain, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle without chill-filtration or added colour. It combines whiskies from five origins: Scotch, Irish whiskey, Canadian rye and American bourbon, together with Japanese Chichibu single malt. The imported components were selected and matured further at Chichibu before being married with the distillery's own malt. Every whisky in the blend is at least ten years old, and many of the international components are between twenty and forty years old. The nose offers fruit, pudding, crème brûlée and oak, with apple pie, sweet corn, honey and white pepper. The palate brings honey, biscuit, dried fruit, toffee, vanilla and caramel. The finish is woody and gently drying, with malty fullness and warm spice.
