Ichiro's Malt & Grain is a Japanese whisky, bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers dried peach and apricot, caramel toffee, vanilla cream, citrus zest, artificial banana and sticky malt. Caramel comes first on the palate, followed by barley malt, gingerbread, tropical fruit, pipe tobacco with honey, black pepper, roasted chestnut and freshly cut hay. The finish is of medium length, with vanilla and dried tropical fruit.
