Indri Dru Cask Strength is an Indian single malt made by Piccadily Distilleries in Indri, Haryana. Its name comes from the Sanskrit word dru, meaning wood, tree or wooden vessel.
It is matured in hand-picked ex-bourbon barrels in the hot sub-tropical climate of northern India. It is bottled at a cask strength of 57.2%, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers orchard fruit, citrus zest, vanilla, dark chocolate and heather honey. The palate is sweet and fruit-forward, with candied orange peel, dark cocoa and roasted nuts. The finish is long and warming, with mixed fruit and dark chocolate.
